“In April of 1968 I completed my active duty service in the U.S. Army as a Combat Infantryman. I decided at that time I would become a veterans advocate. I have been a member and leader in many veterans organizations here in Massachusetts and served as a member of the Board of Director’s of the National Vietnam and Gulf War veterans Coalition in Washington D.C.
I retired as the Executive Director of North Shore Veterans Counseling Services an outreach and counseling agency serving the North Shore an Cape Ann communities. My retirement was due to service connected disabilities as a result of exposure to combat and the herbicide known as Agent Orange.
I continued to advocate for veterans even after retirement and will do so as best I can for as long as I am able.
It is from these many years of experience I feel compelled to support Geoff Diehl in his campaign for Governor. Geoff was the first to announce his campaign and has worked tirelessly ever since. He has travelled all across the Commonwealth reaching out to as many people as possible. Geoff doesn’t talk at people, he talks with people, and more importantly, he listens a rare quality for a politician in my experience.
I am endorsing Geoff Diehl for Governor without any reservation. Ask you to join me in supporting Geoff and voting for him in the Primary in September and again in the final election in November.
I believe Geoff will be a Governor for all veterans of all eras all across Massachusetts.
Thank you for your consideration.”
